Re: crosstalk(?) and rim problems

2003-02-21 by hairytrigger <artifax@internetcds.com>

It is very difficult(impossible) to play a good ride pattern on the
rim of a stereo pad. It is more suited to crashes and special effects.
BUT if you change the pad type in the trigger setup munu, you can
select a pad type that does not support a choke.Try Misc 1 or Misc 3.
As for the tom/crash thing, sounds like crosstalk. Again, in the
trigger setup: Specific rejection. You can set a rejection value for
rejecting signals from a specific pad. You may also try a different
physical placement of the cymbal pad.

PS remember, with electronic drums, you don't have to hit the drums as
hard as acoustic drums. If you want them louder, turn up the volume!
