Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Just to back up what Giles has said - use good shielded and grounded cables - we use a 30m multicore with unbalanced outputs from DTX or a Korg synth and we have no hum pickup or interference at all. The multicore just acts like a bunch of long screened leads - works fine. Guitar leads are fine too. A UK company called Canford Audio also do an excellent range of cables, particularly good for DTX is the twin heavy duty single screened highly flexible HHS-M2 at about 60p per metre. Its also good for midi, hifi, leads in general. And a company CPC in Preston UK, do gold plated phonos and jacks at crazy prices - about 75p each.
