Gene, Thanks for the report. We've started to contact Yamaha about this puzzling situation; some midi equipment seems to work and others not. Your experience with the PM-16 will be invaluable, if only to confirm the flaw that we suspect. Quite a bit of troubleshooting has gone on behind the scenes; if we can answer any questions, let us know.
