I guess this threads topic got changed! :) Anyway, if you even wanted to this elmination of drums in the background thing, you'd have to use a computer program, a professional studio recording piece of software to do it. Then you'd have to have to be able to seperate all the tracks of the music playing into vocals, guitar, bass, banjo, and then drums. What I'm trying to say is is, its gonna be pretty hard to pull off with mp3s or cd audio. The way I do it is to play through my computer which is connected to my stereo system and then lower the volume of the mp3/cd audio on the computer along with raising the volume on my drums so it over powers the drums in the song. This works really well with headphones, but keep an eye out for your hearing! --- In DTXpress@yahoogroups.com, Brett <baaron_123@y...> wrote: > Hey, David > > To my knowledge, and I may be wrong about this one, > but you can't elimate the drums from tracks you listen > to or play along with out of your own recorded CD's, > MP3's, and so on.
