I've noticed a bit of a drop in activity myself, don't know if everyone is on spring break or maybe they all got too busy playing their kits to read their email! :) Anyway, as for the symptoms you describe, I would start by doing a factory reset of the module. This seems to cure a number of strange maladies the kit experiences. Next, I would try the module by itself (i.e. NO MIDI or other cables. Just Headphones and power!). Try plugging in headphones and see if the internal songs (high-rise etc) play correctly (with drums and all the General MIDI voices like piano, bass, horns etc.). Next, I would connect the module to my MIDI rig and try recording a few drum strokes and playing them back. Next I would try using MIDI channel 1 to send General MIDI to the module. The module should have a full compliment of Musical instruments that respond to MIDI channel 1. After trying the above, let us know what result you have and I'm sure someone can come up with a suggestion. :) Vern -- Vern Graner CNE/CNA/SSE | "If the network is down, then you're Senior Systems Engineer | obviously incompetent so why are we Texas Information Services | paying you?
