Thanks, oldguydrummer. I had no idea that the KP65 had that flexibility. Nice touch, Yamaha. From d6's first post, I'm not sure that the stereo cable was going to input 9/10 (since he tested input 1, which would not have been the appropriate destination on any grounds). If the cable was connected correctly, and both the mono- input and stereo-output cable on the tower are in working order, then the tower's electronics section would seem to be at fault (assuming that input 9/10 has nothing wrong with it).
