And now, the rest of the story.........

OK, so I got the DM5 set up on Thursday (4+ hours) and it sounded 
great. Go to fire up the kit on Friday....no stored kits. Darn, it 
must be the battery. Take the unit back to the stor to have the 
battery replaced at no charge. Pick it up yesterday. Take it home and 
modify one kit. Changes won't; the unit keeps resetting to factory 
defaults. Take the unit back to the store this evening. The shop 
owner breaks up a used DTXpress he has on the floor and swaps me even.

WooHoo!

Not only do I have the second DTX like I originally wanted, but I got 
it for $125 (and 3 PCY pads). Plus, I get to stick around here.

I've got tomorrow off, so I think I'll be doing a bit of programming 
before a mini-recording session tomorrow evening
