I will try this tonight. What I didn't want to do was a factory reset.
I know my xpress is receiving ch 10 because I use a midi program patch 
 change device to change kits...But I'll try anything!!!
I'll let you know how I do.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
