Hi Jim, Ed is right, the folks at Visulite now offer their HH setup in a Yamaha compatable version. Why, because Ed and Jade and others liked the way the Visulite cymbals worked and asked Tom @ Visulite if their HHs could be made to work as well. Tom got the Yamaha components he needed to figure out how the trigger interface of the Yamahas worked, and modified his design to work with them. Truth be told, Ed and I are in the process of giving them a test drive (Ed has his, but is in the midst of a rack swap, mine should have been mailed out today)to see how Tom did. If we need to tweek them a little more, Tom will be right there for us. In past dealings with other vendors, they have not even had Yamaha modules to test with, nor have they seemed motivated enough by the reports of problems with their triggers not working well to go get one. I know I have what some in the group would call Senior Moments, but on this topic I think I can figure out where I want to spend my money all by myself. PS - I know where there will most likely be a set of Hart HHs and maybe a Hart dual zone ride going up for sale soon...(quit laughing Ed) Walt --- In DTXpress@yahoogroups.com, Ratzo <ratzo@t...> wrote: > On Mon, 31 Mar 2003 22:12:43 -0000, you wrote: > > > >Hart, being a copmany that does not make modules, has incorporated > >something in their trigger designs that seems to cause triggering > >issues with Yamaha modules.
