Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

just wanted to give a hello to the members of this group. 
i purchased a dtxII a couple of months ago.  i am happy with it so 
far, but have not really gotten into the intricacies of the unit.  i 
spent hours reading old posts and have already gotten some great 
information.  i am sure as time goes on i will have some questions 
for the experts i see online.  
i do have one question that i am sure has been addressed.  even 
though the set is electronic, the pads do make noise.  has anyone 
ever gotten any complaints, espeically those that live in an 
apartment, in regards to the "tapping"?
