Not having my kit here, I can't say which sounds I use, But I know the only cymbals I layer are for the rides. I layer a 'ringy' one with a 'washy' one. They are sampled sounds as far as I know. I layer all my snares. I only layer toms for a big beefy sound, otherwise, I like a cleaner, more pure tone on toms.
