The worst thing about the cymbals, is that when lengthening the decay, 
you get what sounds like a bit of echo as the thing is repeating stuff 
to make itself longer. I don't like this at all.
BUT if you layer two IDENTICAL sounds, be they toms or cymbals, you 
get a very cool phasing effect. You have to have tuning and all 
parameters exactly the same.
