I didn't think about that when I got my DTX kit. However, I did buy myself two fresh pairs of sticks at the time. Why? 1) These pairs stay with the electronic set, are only used with the electronic set, and are therefore relatively clean. I didn't want to transfer the grunge from my other sticks to the nice new pads. 2) I'd forget my head if is wasn't stapled on ;-) Ever gone somewhere to play and remembered to bring your kit but forgot to bring any sticks? I have. So.... o) My electronic set has two pairs of sticks in the Rubbermaid tub I carry it around in, o) My acoustic set has a pair of sticks in the trap case (just in case), o) My stick bag has two pairs of sticks for those occasions when I am playing without either drum set. --- Tom
