Actually, I have an electrical design for just such a product, but 
haven't "productized" it yet.  It is not hard to do and should not 
be too expensive.  Do you think it would be best to implement in a 
similar way as a "lever" on a hi-hat like rod or can it be mounted 
elsewhere and still be ok?

Thoughts?
