I vote for Sennheiser too. I have four of them: 1) HD-600: This is top of the line stuff. Too precious to use with DTX, I only use it for serious listening. 2) HD-280 pro: Very *very* good for closed monitoring. I usually use these with my DTX. 3) HD-497: Cheaper but still great. I initially bought it for casual listening, but if I get too claustrophobic with HD-280, I switch to these on DTX. 4) MX-400: Very cheap earbuds for my office and surprisingly good. Note that there are many factors you need to be aware of when choosing headphones (open/closed, impedance, etc).
