My old
KP 60 quit. Built a Remo practice pad trigger and mounted it to the tower. Much
better response and dynamic range and plenty of room for 2 beaters. About 6
weeks along and it is working very well. Total cost about
$20.

i had the old DTXpress set. i cannot play my double
pedal on it... made me very sad. i called yamaha,
they said the new pedal is not compatible with the
old module... so i just wondering to replace the
kick pad with a acoustic one and trigger it...
but have to buy acoustic bass drum and mesh head and
trigger.... so i just waiting... see if can come
out with better idea....
the idea of modify double pedal, is it possible? i
checked the kick pad, the trigger section is just
in the center of the rubber pad... how?

double pedal~~~
