Ed,

I've tried what you suggested, I found blank notes in 120-127, When I 
try to play back the song in another kit, the song light blinks like 
its playing, but no sound comes through(the song does play in the 
original kit).  I have channel 10 on and in vdrum(however, I am a 
novice so I could be doing something wrong) so I feel like we're 
closer, but not quiter there. Ideas, anyone?

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
