Re: [DTXpress] Bass Drum Trigger Problem Help

2000-07-25 by Mark T. Owen

There is a small switch on the back near where it plugs in, that relates to sensitivity: try the other setting. Also try turning down the gain in the trigger menu. There is a troubleshooting guide in the manual that will suggest these and other (?) possibilities. Sorry , don't have it in front of me. I once experienced similar on the snare pad and found the mount was loose so when it moved after a shot, it triggered again! The sensors in your pads can be triggered by movement/vibration other than a direct hit.
Welcome...and I hope you have a bunch'o'fun with your new DTXpress!

I have just purchased my Dtexpress and have found the
bass drum trigger is rapid firing without my using the
kick pedal to trigger it.
Has anyone had the same problem, what is the fix, as
it could be more trouble than its worth to replace it
with one that does the same thing under warranty
