Anko, I've never used it, but from the product description it appears to be a true dual-zone (two piezo) pad. If it were to work with the dtxpress I or II, it might have to be treated like a triggered acoustic drum, given the location of the trigger toward the rim, rather than the center, without any foam padding. One caution: ddrum triggers have a history of spotty performance through Yamaha modules because of their design. In short, there's no guarantee that the snare will perform correctly with Yamaha. You either have to try it yourself or consult with a ddrum speciallist.
