Peter: I've never used the DMPro, but I did use a DM5 as a second module for about 2 days. Although I did like the tom and bass sounds better than the DTX, I found it limited in many other aspects; such as those ED mentioned. I wound up using an additional DTX for a second module. Life is simpler that way. Stephen
