Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Thanks for the welcome to the group. I am addicted to reading all of the postings on your site. I have also looked at the web site before I went to the music store to pick up my DTX set. I know I will be spending my evening putting it together and I am already itching to play my own and not the demo model.

One thing I have noticed in the 200+ messages that no one is mixing acoustic pieces and parts with the DTX set. My plan is once I get all the sets put together with the sounds that I want I will add in my piccilo snare and various crash and splash cymbals. I have talked with other electronic drummers and all of them have liked the mixture. 

Any comments or reccomendations on set up are appreciated. Again thanks for all the info that is available to the uninformed :)
