Hi everyone, Just spent the last few days reorganising my spare room at home to move my kit upstairs to stop my neighbour complaining about a "strange rhythmical tapping noise"...I pretended I knew nothing about it...but haven't played the DTXpress now for months...maybe I should play the acoustic kit and see which noise he prefers?!?! Anyway...moved the kit upstairs but I have the common complaint about the kick pedal making too much noise...so two questions: 1.) I replace the kick pad with a silent mesh type....I like the look of the KOBY mesh drum pad http://www.koby.co.uk/information.htm only £115 including P+P...I need to get rid of the Yamaha kick anyway it's awful (like everyone in this group agrees!!). Does anyone use a KOBY kick??? Any thoughts / experiences? Is it truly quiet? Or maybe the DTXtreme kick pad? 2.) I construct a platform to put the kick pedal and tower on..to isolate the sound as much as possible. Any proven solutions / designs to this? I've spent loads of money to get smaller spare room furniture only to find I still can't play the kit at 3am...so disappointed :-( Thanks in advance guys... Spence
