Hi

I am planning to expand my dtxpress. A local guy is offering me a
used Roland TD-10 module plus 1 Pd-120, 1 Pd-100, 1 Pd-7, 1 Pd-9 and
1 Kd-7, all for appr. 600$. Since the RS-60 is more or less exhausted
in it`s original configuration, I started to look for alternatives.
The Gibraltar and Tama rack did not fit my budget, and then it struck
me; I have allready got all the clamps from the RS-60. So I went to a
metal hardware shop and bought 6 meters of light steel pipes (38 mm
outer diameter) which I cut in 5 105 centimeter lengths and one 75
centimeter. Using the pipes and the original clamps I build a three
sided "Gibraltar-type" rack. (I also used the original RS-60 front
horizontal pipe) The 105 cm lenghts makes up the four vertical and
the front horizontal pipes, while the 75 cm and the original pipe
makes up the sides. I had three clamps left after I finnished the
rack, and I used one of them to build a more flexible ride cymbal
setup. If anyone is interested in pictures of my rack, please send me
a mail and I will mail them to you.
