IMHO the Tama "Iron Cobra" is the most ruggedly built pedal
out there. Sells for about $100 US i think. I know it sounds
like some kind of heavy metal band, perhaps you could rename
yours "Moses Serpent" :) Don't overlook the used market.
BTW, you may be able to shorten the strap to avoid bottoming
out, but a good pedal is such a treat to play...it will make
you sound better!
