I think I found something that might just work and I thought I would post a link to it in case anyone else out there might have an interest in such an item. This program is supposed to allow you to control another synth or a another piece of software like cakewalk using your drums! They have a demo of an e-drummer playing a song and changing the tempo of the other intsruments by changing the speed he plays at. Any way it looks pretty neat and will do allot of other things like help you in recording and will even control a light system. I downloaded it(30 day demo) but haven't played with it yet. http://www.circular-logic.com/index.html Mark --- In DTXpress@yahoogroups.com, "mgk66219" <machinegunkelley@h...> wrote: > What I would like to be able to do is load a midi file into my module > (DTXTREME) or another synth module and make it stay in time with > what I am playing on the drums. > I dont think the module has this feature built in but I was hoping > maybe there was a box out there that could take a trigger send say > from the kick drum and convert this into some kind of clock that a > synth module would sync to. > > The reason I would want to do this is so I could have a keyboard > player lay down the horns and strings to a song in midi format that > matches our version of a song.
