Actually, from the next few questions you ask, it seems that you have
leaped over some key information. FIrst, are you recording AUDIO out of
the back ofthe DTX or MIDI? If AUdio, then how are you sequencing? IF
you're sequencing from the internal DTX sequencer, then you're in for a
bit of a tough haul, since you would have to start you analog recorder,
then start the sequencer with only ONE sound playing from the DTX (i.e.
SNARE or KICK or some such) by setting all the other sounds to voulme
zero. Then when the song was over, you would rewind your tape, unmute the
next drum and then do it again. One pass for each instrument, so that
would be like kick, snare, hat, tom1, tom2, tom3, crash, ride. on a 4
minute song were talking about 32 minutes of record time! This sounds
like too much work when there seems to be an easier solution.

I would use the DTX to send MIDI to a sequencer and then after you have
recorded the MIDI sequence, pass it back to the DTX and then use it's
internal verb, layering, decay, cutoff, etc to tweak the voices to suit.
Send the output to a mixer along with you other midi stuff and you're
done.
