Check out Dixon racks. If you go to your drum dealer, they will 
probably have a Dixon components catalogue. Dixon sells a cross-
brace like the Yamaha (except in black) seperately. It's not cheap 
gear (some parts like the multiclamp are more expensive than 
Gibraltar) but buying a couple of cross-braces should work out 
cheaper than replacing the rack.

If anyone has a web link to the Dixon folk, I for one would be a 
grateful recipient. I have searched many times and can only find 
them in German...
