Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Hi,

  I'm a newbie and am comtemplating the purchase of the 
DTXexpressII.  I have some knowledge of the system but I need this 
groups opinion.

  I would like to move the hi-Hat pad to jack 9 and change it to a 
4th tom, move the ride cymbal (no damping) to jack 10.  Then I would 
add a new HiHat cymbal and a new crash cymbal (with damping) make & 
model TBD.  Would this work?  

  Also, one other question.  how well will the Yamaha pads work with 
say a DM5 or DM PRO in case I want to add a another module in the 
future.
