I have 200 CDs I bought in the last 3 years. All of them I bought BECAUSE of file sharing: When I hear a song or read a review of an album, I have to listen to the whole album before I buy it. So I d/l it. If I like it then I buy it - and everyones happy - If I don't I delete it. And you know what? All the CDS I buy are ripped to mp3 so I have them all on the computer. If it wasn't for filesharing I would have never discovered all the music I am listening to...
