Kevin,

In short, no. We've gone into detail on this matter many times before 
so I won't do it this time. Suffice it to say that stereo pads are 
really just mono pads in sheeps' clothing. If not played through a 
dedicated stereo input, they revert to one sound. The rim voice is 
not a separate zone; the FSR is just a toggle for the piezo in the 
body of the pad.
