Ed, I agree. It seems to be a limitation of the module, and no adjustments can make it go away. As for other modules, I have no experience, except long ago with a DM5.But I was triggering acoustics, and I don't remember its characteristics. But it is the module. I have absolutely no beef with the AX14S.
