home studio/dumsticks

Howdy,

One of my short term personal projects is to have my
little home studio, just a basic drums/bass/guitar/mic
setup, I've thought about buying a mixer but I don't
really need professional quality recording I'd be
recording with my PC, and mostly doing all the playing
myself, :'( I have no friends to play with.

Whenever I record a song I'll be happy to share it
with the group.

My first option is the Kustom PA found at
http://www.kustom.com/products/pa/kpa100.asp

It has a stereo output for recording, 4 mono inputs
this at first seemed like something bad since I need
one stereo input for the drums, but it has a CD input
in the rear, and there I found the solution, I would
even be able to connect a second mic, or a keyboard or
whatever I can fit inside my little playroom.

What do you think of this PA?, does anyone have a
similar setup to the one I plan?, does anyone have
experience with this PA?

and one more thing, I'm just learning to play drums
and playing about an hour a day I get some sort of
fatigue caused by the vibration of my drumsticks, is
it just a matter of time and practice?

I have promark wood tip drumsticks.

Wich drumsticks do you prefer?

Wich drumsticks will do the least harm to my pads?, I
really want them to last a long time.

Pedro.
