ive yet to hear my kit being played whilst im downstairs so i cant
say wether its 100% effective yet, but so far my parents have'nt
been up to complain so its a thumbs up!

i was thinking of using underfloor insulation foam (the stuff you
use to underlay laminate flooring) under the riser just to add a bit
more of a cushion seeing as my carpet is pretty thin.

i might try the carpet thing between the boards, ive got a load of
spare carpet so why not!

thanks for the comments by the way. and the idea in the first place
