I know what you mean. Roland owns the airwaves. Roland's prices will 
not come down until it has competition in the marketplace to match 
its competition in other respects. Yamaha doesn't appear to be all 
that interested; ddrum is a niche product, which deserves much 
better; and the smaller independents have to find a way to work with 
and around the industry standard.
