Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

I like the set, but until I can solve this problem, I cant do much 
with it. I don't play particularly hard, and yes, it happens with all 
the kits, though some more than others depending on the sample. 
throough headphones it sounds fine, and I've been pretty forced to use 
them, since I can't play it through my regular system without risking 
damage to speakers or amp or both. There has o be something not set 
right, but I've itialized the unit... I don't know...
