For CDs, you can try the Turn It Up series from Modern Drummer
(http://www.moderndrummer.com/turn_it_up.html), which features
various bass players laying down grooves for drummers to accompany,
or the Music Minus One series, which I used as a kid but definitely
aren't just for kids, which presents various musical settings for
instrumentalists to accompany (run a Google on it). Another option is
go to one of the numerous MIDI sites on the web. I don't do that so I
don't have any addresses handy. If you're a greybeard like me, you
might recall that many of the early stereo rock recordings from the
1960s (including the Beatles) panned the drums hard left or hard
right, allowing you to mute the stereo side with the drums and send
the result into the aux input on the DTXpress for you to serve as the
drummer. Just a thought.
