Thanks Ed for the reply,

Hmmm, didn't know the TO HOST connection would be so rare.

My Aardvark Q10 sound card does have midi in/out which I'm using for 
both my keyboard & drums, but I'm having to trade off sharing by 
plugging/unplugging the midi in/out connections.

I'll also look into that USB connection & midi junction type boxes.
