Stewart,

My two favorite e-hats are the Visu-lite and the ddrum (I have to
disqualify the Hart because it doesn't work with either of my
modules); they both play like acoustics, in almost all respects
(except the issue of complete variability control). The ddrum, though
it doesn't look as much like a hi hat as the V., has an uncanny hi-
hat cymbal feel to it (maybe because it's made of metal, doh). If you
close your eyes, you're there. Barring the Yamaha version, Pintech
seems to be coming out with a line of cymbals very much like the Visu-
lites. Maybe a hi hat is in the works; it's worth looking into.
