Re: Is my KP65 dying?

2003-11-12 by zapaxe

I'll put in my 2 cents & personal experience here...

Similar to the previous mention of problematic circuit boards.

My DTXpress I set was having problems with my kick missing some
trigger hits...I ordered TWO new replacement triggers & I replaced
the trigger. Well guess what? Did not help at all! Damn!

Then I took it appart again & checked the circuit board & trigger
jack connection. Seemed ok - Even under a magnifying glass!

Well, I re-soldered the connections anyway just in case there was a
hair line broken solder joint...BINGO!!! For the 1st time in almost
a year it's dead on!
