Back in the 20th C, when I had just bought a DTXpress and was having 
the same problem as you, that's the first thing Dave told me to do. 
It's a good reminder: First check cable; then jack and visible 
connections; than re-solder everything.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
