Maybe Stewart, the group's poor beleagured current archivist, has run across it in his research. A check of the manual didn't turn up anything either. A feature of this sort could very well have some educational and practical value. Including it on a list of recommendations to Yamaha might be a good idea. I agree that it doesn't seem like much of a technical stretch to implement. A lot of trigger devices and drum machines accomplish with tapping what the DTXpress does with manual programming. Ed
