The SBLive card can have some severe latency issues. Could be up to up 
to half a second, depending on other variables too... Make sure all 
driver are up to date, the lowest latency possible on the SBLive card is 
27ms. Your best bet is always an ASIO compatible card.

Launch your SB AudioHQ program, and select the Creative Keyboard 
program. A piano keyboard should appear on screen (click on the keys! 
Fun eh?)
Click on the options button, and select your MIDI input, play your kit, 
you should hear whatever sound selected in the Bank/Instrument 
selectors.. You can load a sound font in and play them tooo... If you 
create your own soundfont, you can play anything you want!
