Ah, the world of apartment drumming. Alot of us have that problem. Fortunately, solutions are around, depending on the route you want take. A few suggestions right of the top of my head are making a compromise with your neighbor in a freindly way, or even go as far as to make a drum riser such as this one: http://209.25.203.234/showthread.php?s=&threadid=24330 I haven't made one yet, but its next on the list of things to do, and seems very promising...
