Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

I have an acoustic set I want to convert to electric. I currently 
have a DTXpress set up. But I would like to convert my acoustic set 
for uses at church.
I was wondering if I was to replace the heads with mesh heads and 
then add a drum trigger to the heads would this work. Would any of 
the drums need a different trigger. I have seen some that says for 
bass drum and others for snare or tom, does it matter?

Also has anybody used the acoustic drum conversion kits from Hart.
If so can I use a mesh head over them.
