Vern How'd you know I'm a Mozilla fan? I did the best thing- waited till 9:00 and walked a block to a store that sells reading glasses. Great tips. Here's tip: if u read your mail in the Mozilla browser, hit CTRL and the "plus" sign (+) that enlarges the font. If it's IE, choose the "view" pull-down menu and choose "text Size" and select "larger". Or, if you need all of windows to display larger fonts, try resetting Windows itself to "large fonts". To do so, right click on the desktop, choose properties then choose the appearance tab, then in the "Font Size" requester, choose "large fonts". Though this can make screen layout look a bit weird, it should allow you to get through the day till u can bring your glasses the next day. :) Of course, if u just want to magnify a few areas to read better, hit START/PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/ACCESABILITY and choose "magnifier" to open a neat little window that enlarges whatever your mouse is hovering over. Lots of tips like this here: http://www.charles-retina.com/compvision.htm Vern PS: I'm assuming you're using windows and/or mozilla.. ;) Also, FWIW, I did some work for a school district and we had to do this for the visually impaired students so I researched it a long while back. -- Vern Graner CNE/CNA/SSE | "If the network is down, then you're Senior Systems Engineer | obviously incompetent so why are we Texas Information Services | paying you?
