It's what I'm typing from right now. :) > I did the best thing- waited till 9:00 and > walked a block to a store that sells reading glasses. If I forgot/lost my glasses I'd be non-functional. I'm rather near sighted. Anything within 14-20" of my nose is perfectly clear, farther away is mush. I can't just pop into a store to get glasses, I have to carry a spare set in the car "just in case". I guess you're lucky if you can operate w/o glasses to do things like play drums. If I get "energetic" my glasses can slide down my nose. grrr. One of the only pictures I have of myself on stage at one of the biggest shows I played, has me with my glasses perched precariously on the tip of my nose. I'm a slave to my glasses. And before u ask, yes I did contacts (too much cost/hassle/health issues) and I'm not about to let some "Doctor" (what do u call the guy who graduates last in his class from medical school? Doctor!) with a razor sharp scalpel near my eyes, thank you! To quote a very famous song writer: "What a drag it is, getting old." :P Vern -- Vern Graner CNE/CNA/SSE | "If the network is down, then you're Senior Systems Engineer | obviously incompetent so why are we Texas Information Services | paying you?
