When the DTXtreme came out, Japan had many models available but the 
US and Canada only had 2.

This link shows all the sets they sold in Japan. Canada and US sold 
the first 2.(Special and Special+a) 
I got my kit from a store in Canada. I've got the "standard" kit(all 
8" toms) with the rack from the "special" kit? The guy's at the store 
are pretty clueless as to how they got this odd kit but I love it! 
Anyone else out there have a DTXtreme with all 8" toms?
