Hello, all.  Happy Holidays to everyone!

For X-Mas I got a nice Visu-lite 16" cymabal, and I love the 
look/feel of it.  One thing I have noticed about it (other than its 
unusual plug set up with what looks like stereo wire connectors) is 
that the sound seems to be a bit on the low side.  Could this be a 
side effect of where the trigger is placed on the cymbal in relation 
to where the rubber is placed on the cymbal?  Just a little confused, 
and when someone's available, a little help would be appreciated.
