Hi Diane,

The cause of the signal interruption could be any number of things. 
To start with the simplest, try another cable. Then you could try a 
little WD40 inside the jack and/or on the plug. If that doesn't work, 
you could re-solder the connections on the circuit board and, failing 
that strategy, buy another inexpensive piezo at Radio Shack (someone 
here has the part number) or elsewhere. Such are the cost-effective 
solutions. If buying another drum is unavoidable, Drumbalaya.com or 
ebay are options for a used TP60/TP60S or TP80/TP80S, which are also 
compatible with your system. Assuming that your current snare is not 
the offending pad, and is a TP60/60S, too, you could move it to the 
broken TP60's position and buy a TP65S to replace it. You won't get 
the second rim sound (assuming that you have the DTXpressI module), 
but it will have the advantage of being new and presumably trouble-
free for a long time. If the offending TP60 is your snare, another 
rubber pad with the "S" designation would be a good upgrade, anyway. 
A Pintech SE rubber pad is possible, too, as well as a mesh option 
(though the latter has complications that we would have to pursue 
more).
