I've tried the CY-6 through a DTXpressI. I wouldn't say that it's a 
match made in heaven, but it should work fine when you arrive at your 
preferred settings. I hope that the seller included the little metal 
attachment for the cymbal stand that comes with the CY-6; as I 
recall, they, like the Yamahas, tend to rotate on the stand.

I can't think of what the problem might be offhand--unless you're 
expecting the copy function in trigger to also copy the data in 
voice, or vice versa. They are two different animals.
